Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel is topically used on the skin to reduce itchiness for conditions such as piles and problems of anal regions. It is also used to cure insect bites, eczema and burns.

This medication functions by reducing pain, redness and swelling. Lignocaine Hydrochloride gel works by restricting the sensation of pain by acting on peripheral nerves in the body.

Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel is used for pain caused by anal or rectal problems, mouth ulcers, denture irritation, as local anesthetic before minor surgeries, numbing agent and other conditions.

Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel usually works for grade 1 and 2 grade of piles. Use Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel as ordered by your doctor. Read all information as prescribed to you. Follow all instructions closely.

• Do not take this gel by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes.
• If you get Lignocaine gel in any of these areas, rinse well with water.
• Wash your hands before and after use. Do not wash your hands after use if the affected area is your hand.
• Clean the affected part before use. Dry it well before applying.
• Put on clean, dry, healthy skin.
• Do not use coverings (bandages, dressings, make-up) unless the doctor asks you to do so.

• If you use Lignocaine gel on a regular basis, use it as soon as you remember it.
• If you are already at the time for your next dose, avoid the missed dose and go back to your normal dose routine.
• Do not put it twice at the same time or extra doses.
• Many times Lignocaine gel is used on an as needed basis (as doctor prescribes). Do not use it more often than told by the doctor.

Note: Store medicines at room temperature, keep it away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by package. Keep medicines away from children and pets.
